Quilt Prints and Fabric.

Hello!  Its been a while…

First off I need to apologise for being MIA over the past few months.  I just realised the last post I wrote was in August!! The shame!!

So I just wanted to give you a heads up on what has been happening at Malinky HQ.

My fourth mini fabric collection, Queen Bee,  was released in November.  Nothing could have prepared me for the response,  it was amazing!!  The collection sold out as fast as my little hands could print it!  In even more exciting news, my Queen Bees made it into Love Patchwork and Quilting Magazine.  So that was fun!

However all good things have to come to and end and the bees came off my screen at the beginning of the year.   The remaining panels in my shop are all thats left!

If you didn’t already know, my fabric collections are only printed for a limited time.  I am a printmaker, I cant help it, limited editions are my thing!  But don’t fret I am currently working on my next collection that will be released some time in February.  Ooh aah!

If you have been following me on Instagram you will have seen me becoming ever increasingly obsessed with EPP.  It all began last summer when I got my hands on some paper pieces from Jodi Tales of Cloth.   I began making 1/3 hex cushions and was hooked!

Fast forward to the now and I am currently finishing off a series of Quilt Print colour studies.  Ten to be precise.  The original Quilt Prints will be mounted ready to be framed and available in the coming weeks.

To accompany the Quilt Print series I will be releasing notecard sets of the quilt prints in the wild.  Us quilters are a generous bunch, always making and gifting fabulous makes.  I thought they would be perfect for writing your hand written messages on when you are sharing the quilt love.

Lastly, you know I am obsessed with all things colourful, right?  So I managed to get my hands on some fabulous Kona Pink Flamingo and have been printing some geometric tile panels on the sly.  They are available in bundles of three panels.  Perfect for adding a bit of flamingo flair to your EPP projects!  Click HERE to be taken to my shop and treat yourself!

Until  next time..
