Selfish sewing

I managed to get some selfish sewing in this week, whoot!  After spending a small fortune on the Black Friday sale of The Village Haberdashery, Simply Solids and M is for Make. I thought I had better use up some of the fabric I have been filling box upon box with.  Beginning with my scrap box.

It’s funny how the making of each quilt blends into each other but when I was pressing and cutting each bit of fabric I could remember making each one. Who I was making it for, the process, initial design concept, what I watched on Netflix ( yes I am reminded of quilts from tv programmes and films).  Does this happen to you? SOA when making CCQ. House of cards making Tesselate. I am currently ploughing through Desperate Housewives. I didn’t watch it the first time round.. Not sure I would recommend it.

And this is what I have come up with so far..

Until next time, happy sewing! Lucy
