Yeah! The day is finally here and I can show you my version of Caroline of Nightingale Quilts Cushion Cut Quilt.
First off I would like to say it has been a pleasure testing this pattern. The design is elegant and versatile. I chose to use a combination of fabrics in greys, pink and off white. With such a sleek design I felt i had to keep the palette to a minimum.
The pattern is really easy to follow and gives a break down of the pieces in each block. So it is possible to take a scrappy approach making each block different. I found the diagrams really useful when putting my blocks together and was given fabric quantities and measurement for cot to king size quilt. This pattern would be great for fussing cutting as well. The centre square are large enough to allow your favourite prints to take centre stage.
There were nine wonderful quilters who each made their own version of the Cushion cut quilt.
